Be the first to order a brand’s newest line or collection with Preorders!
A preorder is an order that you can place for items that are not yet in stock. These items must be ordered by a specific date, with a future fulfillment date set by the brand.
Preorders can allow you to purchase and plan seasonal assortments for your shop ahead of time, while expressing interest in a brand’s newest upcoming trends.
How do I find available preorder items?
Brand page
If a brand is offering preorders, navigate to the brand's page and select a season under the Available to Preorder section to view the preorder items they offer for each season.
Home page
- Search for a specific item category (e.g Womens> Apparel)
-
Select
filter icon
- Under Ship window, select your desired month(s)
- Select Apply to view all preorder items expected to ship within your chosen timeframe
How do I place a preorder?
- Select a preorder product. The ship-by-date will be visible under the Preorder button for you to confirm before adding to your cart
- Select the Preorder button to add the preorder(s) to your shopping cart and checkout – or continue shopping
Please note, preorders are used to gauge how many units of a style a brand should produce. If a style has limited interest, your order may be canceled. In these instances, we recommend checking in with the brand via Faire Messenger — they may have other styles arriving in the same ship window they’d be able to fulfill instead!
How do payments work for preorders?
If you have Net terms, your terms will be deducted at the time your order ships. Your 60-day invoice window will also begin on the date your order ships. Please know that if you do not have available net terms at the time of shipment, your order will be converted to Payment on Shipment terms.
If you have Payment on Shipment terms, you will be charged on shipment, the same as regular orders placed on Faire.

Can I return preorder items?
You're welcome to return preorder items as long as the order qualifies for returns per our standard policies. For more details on how to create a return, visit How do returns work?
Happy preordering!
