Eligible retailers can request to order unlisted products if they would like a product your brand sells that is not currently listed on Faire.
Requesting unlisted products is a new experience we're beta testing among brands and retailers. We will continue to iterate on the experience based on feedback.
How will retailers request unlisted products?
Retailers will be able to do this from your brand page on Faire, where they will be prompted to enter the following information:
- Product name/description
- Product URL
- Quantity
- Requested wholesale price
How will I see unlisted products that have been ordered?
If a retailer has requested to purchase unlisted products, these products will be shown in the order details page, below regularly ordered products. You will also be notified that the order contains requested products in the scheduled ship date section of the order details page.
You will be prompted to accept the products by:
- clicking 'add product to order' on the product in the order items
- clicking 'accept order' in the scheduled ship date section of the order, and clicking 'add requested products'
To accept, you will be asked to confirm a wholesale price and quantity for each product. If the wholesale price or quantity that you can offer is drastically different from what the retailer requested, we recommend first reaching out to the retailer via Faire Messenger before accepting the order.
Once confirmed, these items will be added to the order total and the order items.
Please ensure that products requested follow Faires prohibited items guidelines, to ensure requested products are permitted to be sold on Faire.
Do I have to sell unlisted products on Faire?
If you do not wish to accept a request for an unlisted product, you can decline the request.
You can decline requested products by:
- clicking 'add product to order' on the item in the order items, and clicking 'decline request'
- clicking 'accept order' in the scheduled ship date section of the order, and clicking 'accept order'
