As a retailer with multiple store locations, you’ll be able to set up each location on one Faire account so you can manage your orders all from one place.
How do I add stores to my Faire account?
To add new stores to your Faire account:
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to the Stores tab
- To add a new store, choose Add Store
- Enter all relevant details about your store. Here you can enter your store details: store name, store type, opening year, etc.
- Select Save
You'll now see your new store listed in the Stores tab. The store you signed up for Faire with will always be the first store listed. Any subsequent stores you add will be listed below.
If you need to edit your store information you can choose the Edit icon next to the store name and make your changes. If you need to delete a store, you can do so by choosing the Edit icon next to the store you want to delete and then select Remove store.
Please note, you cannot delete the default store on your account. You can only delete additional stores you have added. Additionally, you can only change certain fields when making edits to your existing stores. Not all fields can be updated.
Should I use a single Faire account for all my stores?
Yes, having one single Faire account for all your locations will allow you to:
- Streamline your orders
- View all orders & invoices in one place
- Ensure your recommendations are relevant
- Ensure you are receiving the maximum amount of payment terms
You’ll also save time and reduce errors with orders to the wrong location by having a single Faire login where you can manage all orders.
Can I place orders for specific stores?
Yes, if you have multiple stores added to your Faire account you can choose which store you would like to place an order for on the checkout page.
To place an order for a specific store:
- Navigate to the final checkout page
- Select which store you would like to place the order for under the Store section. The stores you have added via the Stores tab in your Account Settings will show up here
- Confirm the shipping address for the store is correct in the Shipping address section. If you need to change the shipping address select the Change dropdown button to see shipping addresses you have added and select a new shipping address. You can also add a new address by selecting Ship to a different address
- Confirm the payment method for the chosen store is correct in the Payment method section. If you need to change your payment method select the Change dropdown button to see payment methods you have added and select a new payment method. You can also add a new payment method by selecting Add card.
- Place your order
Once the order has been placed you'll be able to see which orders are associated with a specific store via the Orders section of your Faire portal. Within each order will be a Store section that lists what store that specific order was for.
What should I do if I have stores in different countries?
Currently, you won’t be able to add stores from different countries if your default store is based in one country and you have another store that’s based in another country. For example, if you have a store based in California, you won’t be able to add a store based in the UK and vice versa.
If you do have another store based in a different country, you will need to create a separate Faire account for that store.
