Red River Coriander is a savory, herbaceous heirloom varietal grown by a collective of Hmong farmers along the Red River in the northern highlands of Vietnam. Red River Coriander is smaller and darker in color than many other varietals, but don't be fooled by its petite size. It is aromatic and boldly flavored, with earthy undertones and just a touch of lemon zest. Use it as a finishing spice or add it to dishes that are going to simmer for a long time, so that the nutty, herbaceous flavor is allowed to truly bloom. Cooking Tips: Grind and sprinkle over root vegetables before roasting Crush and combine with toasted chilis, cumin, garlic and tomato paste and lemon juice for a homemade harissa Finely grind and combine with cardamom or orange zest in a Bundt cake

Red River Coriander - Foodservice Container Spice
The first B&B spice I tried was cinnamon. I did a direct comparison with grocery store cinnamon, which I smelled and tasted first. On it's own, the grocery store cinnamon seemed quite good - until I then opened the Burlap and Barrel cinnamon. It was shocking what a huge difference there is. Every spice from Burlap and Barrel has been a similar experience. Not only are the spices exponentially more fresh and flavorful, there is a huge selection. The collaborations are also incredible. We LOVE B&B
