Sifted well with very little dust or twigs. I make and sell a lot of different products using culinary lavender. The color is really important. I think maybe "Ultra Blue Lavender," may be pertaining to a plant variety, because compared to other culinary lavender i buy the color of this is not bright, blue or purple. I would consider the color to be average with a lot of gray undertones. . However, it smells amazing. This variety has is better in teas than it is baked desserts.
