Congo raffia is a ceremonial textile of the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Woven from dyed strips of fiber extracted from the raffia palm, Congo raffia features bold appliqué geometric designs. The seamstresses at Marvelous Batik in Tanzania create beautiful decorative pillow covers from this unique African textile. Each pillow is completely unique. Sold singly as a pillow cover only.
