Description
This traditional mala prayer bead necklace is handmade in Nepal using ethically sourced water buffalo bone, symbolizing impermanence and spiritual transformation in Buddhist tradition. Each bead is hand-painted with the sacred "Om" symbol, representing the essence of the universe: past, present, and future, and the foundation of all that is sacred. The mala features 108 beads, plus 2 counter beads for tracking mantra repetitions and 3 tassels for a balanced, elegant finish. A mala is used to focus the mind and count mantras. Begin with the bead next to the “guru” bead, recite your mantra, then move to the next using your thumb. Repeat through all 108 beads. Wear it as a necklace or use it as a spiritual accessory. Drape it on a car mirror, place it on your altar, wrap it around your wrist, or display it as meaningful decor. Necklace Length: 25" Tassel Length: 2"

Nice quality beads, and sturdily made, but the tassel is a bit lackluster.

Really cheap, bead composition unclear, and turquoise-dyed beads showed up as an unattractive green. Really disappointed.

Thank you so much for the feedback. The green beads used in this mala are reconstructed turquoise-style beads made from compressed turquoise powder rather than solid natural turquoise. They were chosen to keep the piece affordable while still adding color and contrast to the wood and Rudraksha beads and Recycle Buffalo bone beads I understand the look may not meet everyone’s expectations, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. We would be happy to offer you a refund, let us know. —Yak & Yeti • 13 mei 2026
