Description
Perfect for home or garden, each Welcome Pineapple Arch is approximately 9.5" x 12.75" x 0.5" and hand-chiseled out of recycled steel oil drums by Haitian artisans using techniques first developed by Georges Liautaud in the late 1950s when he chalked out his first design on a flattened steel oil drum and then cut it out by hand with a mallet and chisel. As each piece is handmade, their final dimensions and finish may vary slightly.

The indoor/outdoor nautical pieces were immediate hits in our two garden centers. A customer bought three on the first day! The handmade details, signed work, recycled materials, mutual aid made for a great talking points and even our non-garden staff are fans of these pieces. The index-sized cards with info about the art is really nice. I contacted the seller regarding a correction to the order and the response was immediate and highly satisfactory. I wouldn't hesitate to order again.
