Salina D.O.P. salted capers are produced on the island of Salina, in the Aeolian Islands. For the cultivation of capers in DOP salt, the natural fertility of the volcanic soil is exploited, favoring it with limited interventions that exclude the use of fertilizers, additives and chemical fertilizers.
