Description
A keepsake birthday card for someone born in December that features botanical illustrations of the birth month flowers, poinsettia and narcissus, illustrated with watercolor and pencil. The inside is blank for you to write your own special message. Included on the front are the birth stone, birth flowers, and some personality characteristics. In the Language of Flowers, or Floriography, poinsettia means "be of good cheer." Narcissus is also called "Poet's Daffodil" and means self love. If you're not familiar with the Language of Flowers, it was a way of communication through flowers. In the Victorian era some things just weren't said so they used combinations of plants in bouquets to convey messages. The greeting card measures 5 x 7. It is printed on heavy card stock and comes with an A7 white envelope.
