For many generations, our rooms and bedrooms in Zillertal/Tyrol have been clad with pine wood and the beds have also been made from them. Our grandparents and great-grandparents have already spent a lot of time on pine wood. Proof of this is the many old rooms and cupboards and chests of drawers that are still in use. Furthermore, in the past, extracts and infusions were made from pine needles in conjunction with other alpine herbs.
