Description
Professional-grade flax linen baker’s couche for artisan bread proofing, ideal for professional kitchens, bakeries, cafés, cooking classes, and dedicated home bakers. Made from 100% natural, untreated flax linen, this couche supports consistent dough shaping while promoting proper moisture control for improved structure and crust development. The natural linen fabric wicks away excess moisture, helping form a light skin on dough surfaces and maintaining distinct loaf shape without sticking. Dust with white or rice flour before placing dough to help further prevent sticking and ensure smooth release. 24″ x 36″ (suitable for most home bakers) — Made of 100% natural flax linen. — Untreated & unbleached. — Finished seam on all four edges to prevent fraying — Green or red pin stripes near one edge — Linen is from France. Assembled and sewn to perfection in the United States. Care instructions: Never wash a baker’s couch. Simply shake or brush off excess flour and air dry. If dough sticks, allow to dry and scrape off. Roll up to store. Dust with white and/or rice flour to prevent dough from sticking.

The products from Breadtopia are excellent quality and perfect sizes. The sourdough starter has been very popular in our store. We are starting classes soon on soberdough and cooking with the "discard". I hope you will consider jars that are 2 to 3 times that size for more options for those who really like to bake several times a week. Again, though, Great Products.
