Description
Classic Steam Engine from the Pennsylvania Railroad on 15" x 25" hand towel. A fun accent to any Kitchen, Bathroom, or train-themed business! Made with earthy browns and great for cleaning up spills. Art wears well on the front side. DESCRIPTION: What could be more exciting than a powerful steam engine? Trains often are symbols of childhood and nostalgia. This piece reminds many of their childhoods playing on the steam engine #1285 at Denace the Menace park in Monterey, CA. Step back and reminisce about your childhood or share with the next generation of train lovers, train spotters, and foamers! I am an active rail enthusiast and draw much inspiration from trains. Shop more of our prints and giclées or see original train-inspired art at www.AdamHansenArt.com The original is held in a private collection. Commissions are accepted for a similar style, We can also work from photographs to bring your vision to life. See website above. My personal favorite steam train that this is modeled after is the Pennsylvania Railroad K4, which was a class of 425 4-6-2 steam locomotives built between 1914 and 1928 for the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), where they served as the primary mainline passenger steam locomotives on the entire PRR system until late 1957. I have a personal painting in my studio of this engine and a Lionel steam train of it in my personal connection. I am most certainly a Train Lover myself. From us to you, here's to more steam travel, wonder, and adventure!
