With this postcard, I wanted to highlight this strong visual identity, between heritage and a graphic perspective. The lines of the fortifications, the geometric structure and the harmony of the landscape convey the full historical richness of Navarrenx, the first bastioned town in France. Born in Navarrenx, this illustration is my way of showcasing this often overlooked but nonetheless emblematic detail of the area. It is part of a collection dedicated to the landscapes and characteristic elements of the Béarn des Gaves, between history, architecture and nature. A local creation, printed in the Southwest All my illustrations are entirely hand-drawn, then printed in the Southwest of France.
