Dlit poster with a photograph from an early morning in Skagen dune plantation. We have taken out early to photograph the beautiful natural area around Stokmilen south of Skagen Town. It's a big dune area and you can easily feel you disappear between the big ones. The photograph for the dune poster is taken just as the sun sheds its warm light in over the area. The sun begins to color the sky is we are ready and get the first pictures in the camera. While it is great to walk along the water on the other side of the dunes there is a wonderful landscape on the other side. It is a young landscape consisting of wind created dunes, forming an almost unbroken embankment along the West Coast. After a beautiful sunrise there is calm a balance in the body that benefits from the clean air and silence. The walk goes past the sandy church and back through the low dune forest with small hooked trees.
