Description
"Here for you." This card was originally inspired by a poem that Grace wrote. It translated into this illustration that I liked: a sense of vast serenity and togetherness even amidst the dark unknown of the woods. However, I still thought the image needed some words. I had read in a Thich Nhat Hanh book that some of the words we crave hearing the most are, "I'm here for you." It's so simple, but that was the thing that meant the most while I was in the ICU: that people showed up for me. Either in writing or gifts or literally sitting at my bedside, playing soulful guitar for me, watching Netflix with me, or bringing me organic produce. I hope this card helps you show up with a few meaningful words, letting someone know that you're there for them in whatever they are going through, and that you'll help them however you can.
