This throw is made using the same undyed worsted and woollen yarns as our Lerwick range, only a more traditional size and handle, in a timeless, all over Herringbone design. As you would expect with a worsted Shetland yarn, the textured finish gives a soft yet sturdy feel which is designed to keep you cosy and comfortable. The name Muckle Flugga comes from one of the Shetland Islands most northern points, north of Unst. It was previously the most northerly inhabited part of the British Isles until the lighthouse found on this rocky island was automated and its residents moved away.
