Description
The amount of time it takes to press all the clay through a window screen to create the moss texture on these bowls is insane, but it's so worth it! These interesting bowls will be a highlight in your shop with their unique texture and simple, natural glazes. Each bowl is thrown on the wheel and then moss texture is added by hand before being individually glazed and then fired to finish. Bowls are meant for decorative use as the moss texture is prone to chipping with wash and wear. But all glazes used are food safe. Bowls measure 5 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches high. Due to the natural processes in ceramics and each piece being individually made, there will be small variations in size, shape, and color. Bottoms of pieces are not glazed.
