Chain of Lakes II features lily pads along the calm lake shoreline. The blue layer represents a map of the lake network. Inspired by Chain O' Lakes State Park in both McHenry & Lake County, Illinois. The State Park series features the varied landscapes found within Illinois, and is representative of the vastness of the American landscape. Each print features one hand-carved block and two layers of abstract color fields created using type-high wood blocks.
