White Pines II features the southern-most stand of native white pines in Illinois; towering up to an impressive 90 feet tall. Inspired by White Pines Forest State Park in Ogle County, Illinois. The State Park series features the varied landscapes found within Illinois, and is representative of the vastness of the American landscape. Each print features one hand-carved block and two layers of abstract color fields created using type-high wood blocks.
