The geometry of these elegant figures is intended to personify the abstract form of a monk engaged in prayer. The slim design makes the Monk suitable as a bedside table or desk lamp. All design objects are manufactured in northern Germany from predominantly recycled materials using additive manufacturing. Each lamp undergoes its own quality check and is carefully handcrafted in a local workshop for people with disabilities. The 3-stage dimming can be activated by simply switching it off and on.
