Description
Prehnite forms in the veins and depressions of volcanic rocks, often basaltic, but also occurs in granites. In the past it has been mistaken for jade, serpentine, chrysoprase and other gemstones. The subdued, apple-green colour of prehnite blends beautifully with gold, but it really shines in combination with silver. Prehnite is considered a "dream stone". It is believed to enhance lucid dreaming and promote communication with other planes of existence. It is also considered the "stone of prophecy" long used by the indigenous peoples of South Africa. Don't let the distance scare you away. First you won't find a lot of repeat products in this line. One of a kind, happy to bring to the USA. I love to tell clients this came from across the pond. Great variety. The shipping didn't kill me either. Got here really quick.
