Vintage Cowboy Howdy Premade Trucker Hat
I want to start by saying that I truly like the hats, and I appreciate the speed of fulfillment — That said, I need to address a concern that has become an issue on our end. TrendyKeys is currently selling the same hats on Etsy for only $6.99 more than the wholesale price on Faire. Unfortunately, this creates a direct conflict with how wholesale and retail relationships are meant to function. A customer brought this to our attention the day we placed these on the sales floor. That sucked.
I want to start by saying that I truly like the hats, and I appreciate the speed of fulfillment — That said, I need to address a concern that has become an issue on our end. Wholesale pricing is $12-19 for hats, while our retail pricing is $23.99-$36.99, reflecting an industry standard markup that does not undercut wholesale partners. Your customer was mistaken. While we understand the desire to maximize profit margins, the context missing here is you are currently listing these hats at $49, well above MSRP and typical industry pricing.
