Small Lap Loom Kit - Two sizes in one
Reviewed by our in house fiber artist that teaches. Thin, flimsy wood twists when warping. Stuggled to warp, yarn catching. Tips on QR had no beginner instructions to warp or weave. Beginners wouldnt know what to do. Needles were rough & snag all types of yarn. 2 sz's combs beaters okay. 1 comb w/handle ok. 2 leash sticks fair/also rough & snag & Shuttle also rough & snagging too large for 7" direction. Disappointed and would not recommend for future purchase for our gift shop

I’m sorry you were not happy with your looms. This is a very basic beginner entry level kit with a very low price point so everyone can give frame weaving a try. The extra tools include are freebies to make sure that someone can get started right away. Being entry level doesn’t mean that much thought has not went into the design however. I make sure to include everything but the yarn so someone can get started right away. I also use flexible wood for a reason. I explain in my what’s included video but I chose a flexible wood since beginner weavers tend to weave tightly & having that flex gives them an easy visual that they are weaving too tightly. I also include videos on many aspects of weaving with these looms. Expected solid birch based on description given. Received items made from birch plywood. The looms and the Niddy-Noddy will break when used. Not up to the standards I am used to from Faire vendors.
