Description
Cupid, Roman god of love and desire, derives from the Greeks' Eros, the winged boy-god who could strike unsuspecting victims with two types of arrows: gold-tipped, which would make them fall in love, or lead-tipped, which would make them run from affection. The figure in this painting may have been struck with gold or lead, but what's clear is that Cupid's arrows have no effect on her. This print is a reproduction of an original oil on birch panel painting. High quality fine art prints made on archival matte paper and signed by the artist. All prints are individually wrapped in a sleeve and include a sturdy backing board for easy display. Each image has a roughly 1/2" white border around it. Each art print includes a short informational paragraph containing the lore and attributes of the figure as well as the artist's interpretation of their mythology. These unique informational write-ups increase customer engagement and sales, and provide a window into the artist's thinking.
