Do you know where your elderberries come from? Over the last three years we have discovered that much of the elderberries sold in the US come from overseas including Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria, Poland, China. Our Elderberry Tonic Shrub starts with whole fresh Elderberries grown in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. 100% US grown. We use organic apple cider vinegar as the extractive and a little organic cane sugar to pull out all of the color, flavor and nutrients of the fruit. We add 15% Black Currant and Concord Grape for added anti-oxidants and vitamin C. Take 2 TBS a day. Elderberries have been used throughout history. Apropos - we use whole elderberry - no flavorings, thickeners, concentrates, powders, or adulterants of any kind.
