Description
3" x 2.5" deaths head memento mori sticker. This sticker is printed on vinyl sticker paper and covered with a glossy lamination to improve water resistance. Each sticker is handmade, so slight variations may occur. Death's head funerary art, prominent in 17th and 18th-century colonial American gravestones, is characterized by the depiction of skulls, often with wings or crossed bones. These stark, emblematic motifs symbolized mortality and the transient nature of life, reflecting the Puritan belief in the inevitability of death and the importance of living a pious life. Carved into the stone markers of early New England cemeteries, death's heads served as a somber reminder to the living of their own mortality and the afterlife. I might start copy-pasting a bit, all the stickers are well printed and the art is lovely! I've sold several very quickly (In a physical retail store setting where stickers are not the focus, so this good.) I personally love this sticker and have already sold several (after only a few days on the floor, in a setting where stickers didn't usually sell that well). The 'colored pencil' texture is perfect for these fish. The sticker quality itself is also very nice.
