One of our husbands commissioned this soap. He wanted "man soap" and requested a black bar with a grey line through the middle. And Double Black was born. A little vanilla and a little oak mixed with bergamot, camphor, heliotrope, amber and sandalwood. It smells so good! Just trust us and buy this for the man in your life - or for yourself! Ingredients: Saponified oils (olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil, rice bran oil and castor oil), sodium lactate, responsibly-sourced mica, titanium dioxide, sea salt, activated charcoal and phthalate-free fragrance oil. This is a handmade product and will have some variation in size and color from one bar to another. Each bar is approximately 4.3 ounces. *Please note - because this is a solid black bar, there may be a tinge of grey in the lather. This washes away with the dirt and water and does not stain skin. It's all part of the nature of coloring handmade soap, but it can be concerning if you aren't expecting it.Â

After our last soap-supplier quit the soap business, we struggled to find another maker that made great soap locally. We very fortunately found Wild Rye Soapery! Their service is phenomenal, they are always very responsive and quick to deliver an order. We've placed probably 6-10 orders through them and every time the soap meets all expectations. We also love their new branding and packaging! Much easier to display and barcode. We will continue to support this amazing local business!
