The Canarian pintaderas are a series of symbols and shapes used by the ancient inhabitants of the island of Gran Canaria, believed to have been used to mark both properties and goods, as well as themselves. Traditionally, they are made of clay, with a small handle on the back to be used as stamps. Their shapes, always simple geometric ones, feature various and diverse engravings and decorations. The front part is made of engraved brass, filled with semi-transparent black UV resin, which adds a certain shine and much interest to the surface, which is not flat. It is also protected with transparent UV resin, which will prevent it from oxidizing and maintain the shine of the brass. The back is made of 925 silver, like the ring from which it hangs, with the intention that everything in contact with the skin is silver, to avoid allergies.
