As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep." - John 10:14-15 KJV I've always loved the metaphor of Jesus Christ being "the good shepherd" and how he cares for his flock. I thought of these two verses while I was painting, and pictured a heavenly glow falling on him from above. I love Jesus Christ and hope this painting conveys that.
