About Our Heiday

We believe in gifting well and gathering often, that the time you take for and with the ones around you is what keeps us flourishing. With every collection release, our hope is the pursuit of togetherness in life’s most joyous and hardest moments - the big move cross country, the long awaited pregnancy, the first double digit birthday, the diagnosis, the loss of a cherished grandparent. We have just the thing. Pat Shen launched Our Heiday’s first collection in 2014 after leaving two years of law school behind. With no formal art training and desperation for a creative release, she pursued her love of design organically, picking up a paintbrush for the first time in ten years. From that first collection in her downtown LA apartment, Our Heiday quickly became known for its painterly and warm, yet refined and modern aesthetic - the ability to merge beauty and connection. We can be found in small shops throughout the country and select shops internationally. Corporate partnerships have included collections at Anthropologie, Paper Source, and Blue Sky planners at Target nationwide. Our Heiday (a play on “heyday”) is a nod to Pat’s mom and her four sisters whose Korean names all begin with “Hei.” Together, they’ve exemplified how love gives, conviction sustains, and creativity is a requisite to living.
