This listing is for ONE random pull Polished Fossil iridescent Red Ammonite from the Mahajanga Province of Madagascar. These ammonites are approx 110 million years old, being from a formation that dates back to the Cretaceous period! Some have slightly more flash, but better defined flowers on the outside! Some treated chipage may also exist, after all; these are authentic fossils that are estimated to be 110 million years old! Ammonites were predatory mollusks that resembled a squid with a shell. These cephalopods had eyes, tentacles, and spiral shells. They are more closely related to a living octopus, though the shells resemble that of a nautilus.
