This "Birds" plate, with its encyclopedic drawings, is an original creation by Les Jolies Planches based on vintage illustrations from Larousse pour tous, an encyclopedia published at the beginning of the 20th century. Toucans, curassows, cockatoos, hummingbirds… this aviary bursts with color and thousands of feathers adorn this plate of vintage encyclopedic illustrations. These delicate illustrations were rediscovered with the cooperation of the Bibliothèque nationale de France for our collection. Fine art printing in a French print shop certified Imprim’Vert®, on a 100% natural cotton canvas certified OEKO-TEX®, free of harmful substances. Eco-friendly inks, without solvents or controversial components, suitable for sensitive environments.
