In this story, he goes to New Zealand and makes friends with a kea bird, named Kiku. Kiku shows him many of the beautiful sites of New Zealand. After some sight seeing, Kiku invites Bozo to lunch and catches a fish for him from a nearby river. They have a companionable meal together. Finally Bozo notices that the sun is setting and that he must go home. He and Kiku wave goodby. Bozo flies back to his home in the U.S. He gets home just in time to greet his friend, Philip, as he arrives home. Philip and Bozo hug.
