Virgin oil from Demeter black cumin seeds. The seeds from the Sekem project in Egypt are carefully cold pressed in small batches in our Zurich Oberland oil mill. The fine, golden yellow to red and spicy oil is bottled unfiltered and untreated. The oil is optimally protected in the violet glass. Small batches and gentle cold pressing with technically optimized production methods provide first quality all year round. Black cumin oil provides value-conscious consumers with plenty of essential fatty acids, but also, above all, valuable fat accompanying substances such as essential oils and oleoresins. Black cumin, originating from Asia Minor, contains valuable small black seeds in poppy-like capsules. Despite the name, it is not cumin, but belongs to the buttercup family. In the Middle and Far East, nigella sativa is a traditional, versatile and valued spice and home remedy.
