Another addition to our new Classic Collection was the Ceramic Highball cocktail cup, again our inspiration was to create a simple and perfectly formed Highball hand made in clay giving it a modern elegant twist. The term ‘High Ball’ seems to have emerged during the 1890s and first appears in a Harry Johnson’s 1900 edition ‘Bartenders Guide’, the first book to comprehensively document the proper steps to opening, stocking, and operating a bar. Hand made here and simply dipped in a green glaze, this must have been just what Harry had in mind!
