The design draws from traditional Tlaloc imagery, including the blue bands symbolising rain and water, which influenced the mug’s unique finish. Each mug is dipped in a reactive blue glaze and then flash-cooled with cold water straight from the kiln. This process creates natural glaze cracking that is later inked to enhance texture and give the piece an aged, authentic look.
