Description
Carved by hand from African sese wood, this handsome mask is the work of Godfred France. Diagonal lines flow from the eyes to the elongated chin while parallel curves follow the lines of the eyes. This mask is representative of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, formerly Zaire. "It is used by the Songe people during their wedding ceremonies," France explains.

I really love everything that I ordered, but sent almost all of it back. The prices on their website are just above wholesale and there is no way to mark items up high enough to make any kind of profit. I may order again if their website prices are more in line.
