The scarab (or “dung beetle”) gathers a ball of dung, and pushes it through the desert to its nest, where it is eaten by its young, after the eggs have hatched. The Egyptians believed that the sun moved through the sky by being pushed by a beetle. For them, the beetle. was associated with the Sun God, Ra. Pendants come on Legend Cards with a 33 inch long black cord. Fine Lead Free Pewter. Packaged on Recycled paper cards.

Items are lovely, nice quality and as descrbed. I only wish the availability was indicated on the listings more accurately. I had to wait a long time for the items to arrive which affected including them in the launch with the rest of my collection.
