This shot glass is engraved with our Trinity Clover design, that is, a Clover with a Trinity Knot inside. St. Patrick used the clover to describe the Holy Trinity to the natives of Ireland. The Trinity knot design first appears in the historical record around 400AD when Coptic missionaries traveled to Ireland and proceeded to produce the highly esteemed Illuminated manuscripts. It symbolizes the three-fold Godhead - the three points represent Father, Son, and Holy Ghost and the interwoven circle depicts the unity between the three.
