Wholesale Tokoname Clay Kyusu Teapot

Our Kyusu, or Japanese teapots, are produced in Tokoname, a Japanese city famous for high quality ceramics production, Tokoname yaki, for over 1,000 years. The kyusu are distinguished by their earthen surface and simple, functional design. They are as functional as art pieces as they are for brewing tea. The natural earthen aesthetic and the greenish gray glaze introduce a subtle wabi-sabi atmosphere, enhancing the charm of the teapot. No two kyusu are identical, each with slight variations in color and glaze. Equipped with a finely crafted mesh filter, the kyusu prevent tea leaves from escaping, while maintaining optimal extraction of aroma and flavor without clogging. The kyusu are large enough for 1-3 people, with a capacity of 360ml (~12.5fl oz) and are lead-free.
