We are a small 3rd generation family-run tea business from Shizuoka that has over a 100 years of experience in producing specialty Japanese tea. Mr. Den Shirakata, the founder of Den’s Tea, was so passionate about his tea that he established the company precept "Quit your business if you sell a bad product." In 2000, we opened a branch in Torrance with the wish to share the richness and beauty of our teas in the US. Unlike American tea companies, we can provide premium tea directly from the farms to your shelves. And in our commitment to our tea quality, we employ the same tea handling and preservation techniques as used in Japan. This guarantees the freshest, most genuine Japanese tea experience. As providers of Japanese tea, we hold both flavor and health content to the highest standards.
