Loog guitars use the first three strings of a guitar: same strings, same tuning. This is why finger placement and everything you learn on a Loog can be applied on a 6-string guitar too. MORE THAN JUST A GUITAR All Loog guitars come bundled with flashcards and an app that have everything you need to learn how to play guitar. We've carried Loog for years. Love the guitars, gig bags, straps, everything. This was the first time to order anything from Faire so was not expecting the enormous freight charge on my Loog order. It was so high that I will probably not be reordering especially since they sell direct to the consumer and charge zero freight. Very disappointed and actually shocked when I saw the invoice. They were shipped in a timely manner and in good condition.

I am very happy with the value and overall playability of Loog guitars. I own a music school and sometimes we have younger students who can't handle a smaller scale guitar. This guitar is great. It works with the E, B ,G strings so it translates really well when the student is ready to go to a 6 string guitar. The nylon strings are easy on the student's hands. Steel strings can be a deterrent for younger students but the loog has thought that out carefully as well.
