Black chickpeas are an excellent food rich in protein, starch and minerals. They are also a rich source of crude fibers. Black chickpeas are rich in vitamins: B, C, E and K. In addition, unlike the common version, black chickpeas are particularly rich in iron. They have a wrinkled, irregular, black skin, have an intense flavor with herbal notes that make them perfect even if only cooked and consumed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Excellent when combined with fish-based dishes, as an alternative they are ideal for making hot soups, side dishes, delicious salads and gourmet dishes. Soak 36 hours/Cooking 60-90 minutes [pressure cooker 40 minutes from the start of the whistle]. Important: Change the soaker water at least 2/3 times. Our chickpeas are produced exclusively in Italy in pristine soil. All of our legumes are grown in the open field by local farmers.
