This headband comes in a beautiful variety of colors, sold as an assortment. This item was hand made by dedicated knitters at Padhma Creations in Nepal. In addition to fair wages, Ganesh Himal Trading pays into a Worker Development Fund for for each item purchased. This fund is managed by the knitters themselves and provides funds during times of need. For example, one knitter's son was diagnosed with a serious case of tuberculosis and the road to recovery required sustained medical treatment — the kind that, without support, would have been nearly impossible to afford.
