Description
Kudarijufi—dropping wisteria—is a kamon motif depicting wisteria blossoms cascading downward, a symbol associated with nobility and endurance in Japanese heraldry. This furoshiki bears that motif in a composition that balances formality with organic movement. Dyed and printed on cotton, the cloth reflects the period when furoshiki served as personal identifiers as much as practical tools. The wisteria crest would have marked this as belonging to a particular household—a quiet declaration carried through daily life. A vintage piece in good condition, suitable for display, framing, or use.
