Each plate reflects the perspective and distinctive style of the artist who designed it. Here, the artists had an opportunity to experiment in a new medium, where they could incorporate their personal signature in a different way. Between illustration and ceramics, two of the main fields that make up Águas Furtadas’ range of works, the result is a unique collection that celebrates creativity and the joy of sharing — at the table and in art. All "Pó de Barro" pieces are one of a kind. Due to artisanal production, all products have variations in shapes, colors, and finishes. ______ About the artist: My name is Bárbara and I am an illustrator and visual artist from Porto. My work is figurative, inspired by nature and feminine plurality. I organized three editions of an illustration exhibition bringing together around 20 Portuguese female illustrators and I regularly take part in art markets and group exhibitions.
