This rustic framed print of a Brown trout (Salmo trutta) is a reproduction print from an 1898 guide to the fishes of North America and features the art of American painter John L. Petrie. This print and rustic reddish brown wood frame is perfect wall art for the lake house, cabin or lodge, and would make a great gift for the fresh-water angler. Printed on matte photo paper with archival-quality ink and framed in a mango wood frame with beveled inside edge. Note: These frames are VERY rustic. They may have light distressing and uneven staining and sanding, but we think this adds to their character.
