SIDDHARTA - The Buddhist Collection - THE BLESSING BUDDHA The Buddha appears here with his right hand in the gesture of blessing. This posture is only used in showing one episode in the Buddha’s life. It is said that during an argument among his followers, the Buddha left to live alone in a forest for three months. During that time, an elephant who was tired of living with the herd came to stay in the same forest. The elephant gathered fruits to give the Buddha, who from a fully upright position, blessed the elephant. Pendants come on Legend Cards with a 33 inch long black cord. Fine Lead Free Pewter. Packaged on Recycled paper cards.
