These angel ornaments are a harmonious union of artistic expression and sustainability. I have crafted the angels from upcycled paper that I have painted by hand utilizing several techniques combined with strong color intuition. After the paint has cured, I cut the paper into strips and roll them into gorgeous beads. To ensure their durability, I coat the beads with multiple layers of a water-based, clear acrylic. I do not repeat any design exactly as it was painted before resulting in small batches in an array of colors and designs. Measuring approximately 2.75 inches in length, the ornaments come with a ribbon for hanging and a small tag that explains the process of their creation. While ideally suited for Christmas trees, these ornaments possess the enduring quality that makes them meaningful keepsakes for a multitude of occasions.
